MSN is closing down (hoax)

This is quite possibly the most poorly written hoax/chain letter I’ve personally ever seen. Yet, it’s still popular. Shocking.

Hey it is Andy and john the directors of MSN, sorry for the interruption but msn is closing down. this is because too many inconsiderate people are taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for just one person), we only have 578 names left. If you would like to close your account, DO NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE ON. If you would like to keep your account, then SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. This is no joke, we will be shutting down the servers. Send it on, thanks.
WHO EVER DOES NOT SEND THIS MESSEAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED AND YOU WILL COST £10.00 A MONTH TO USE. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. NOW YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL. GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION

Stem-Cell Fraud in Korea

Noted pro-life advocate Judie Brown, president of the American Life League (ALL), says the revelation that a well-known South Korean scientist faked his research on the cloning of embryonic stem cells is just further proof that the use of these ethically controversial stem cells is nothing more than the unnecessary destruction of innocent human life.

South Korea’s leading university says gene research superstar Hwang Woo-Suk did not produce any stem cells individually tailored to patients as he had claimed. ALL’s Judie Brown says the vast majority of ethical scientists feel Hwang deceived the public. “We actually saw people depart from his team during the course of his research,” she says, “and the bottom line is that human embryonic stem cell research has never offered any kind of therapeutic plus to anybody. There is no credibility whatsoever in human embryonic stem cell research, and there never has been.”

Hwang rose from being an obscure veterinarian to international research community fame in 2004 when he claimed to be the first investigator to clone a human embryo. But what Hwang has just proven, Brown contends, is that the only thing embryonic stem cell research proponents have, figuratively speaking, is “a deck of cards that has been built up into some kind of a pyramid that’s going to descend upon itself and be destroyed.”

Congress is being asked to give nearly a half-billion dollars in tax credit to casinos, country clubs, liquor stores, massage parlors, adult bookstores and “escort” services which were damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The measure is now in a conference committee trying to work out the differences in the House version and Senate version.

If passed with the casino tax-breaks intact, the casinos would not only get their insurance money but also get the tax money. The House version doesn’t allow tax breaks for casinos, country clubs, liquor stores and massage parlors while the Senate version does.

TAKE ACTION
Send an email to your U.S. Senators and urge them not to include casinos, country clubs, liquor stores, massage parlors, adult bookstores and “escort” services in the half-billion in tax credits. Time is short as the bill is now being considered and expected out of conference soon.
