Just a quick note. I’m really busy at the moment and don’t expect to be able to even check the site, let alone reply to comments. Give me a couple weeks to meet some deadlines and I’ll try to poke my head back in then.

Answering JP
This post is an answer to a comment by JP on the ever popular Ron Paul on Evolution post. His post was so long the reply needs it’s own post. I’ve tried to keep my replies brief, but if that lead to me being less than clear on something, please ask in the comments. And before I begin, let me thank you, JP, for the well thought out comment and the “let us reason together” attitude you bring to the table. It’s refreshing. Okay, here we go:

Poll finds more Americans believe in devil than Darwin

Coulter: Fred Sawyer and Huckabee Finn
Weed through the stinging barbs and check out some of the facts from Ann Coulter’s piece on Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee:

Toward that end, when an Arkansas legislator introduced a bill that would prevent illegal aliens from voting and receiving state benefits, Huckabee denounced the bill, saying it would rile up “those who are racist and bigots.”
He also made the insane point that companies like Toyota would not invest in Arkansas if the state didn’t allow non-citizens to vote because it would “send the message that, essentially, ‘If you don’t look like us, talk like us and speak like us, we don’t want you.'”
